Al started his career in broadcast news as a reporter and anchor after graduating from Northwestern University. After that he helped launch the hit show Forensic Files; beginning his career in documentary television. Al’s varied career path took another turn when he became a college professor and the director of the new TV/Film department at a university. He built that into the largest program at the school, then returned to television in leadership roles on shows like 30 Days and Paranormal State. Al and his team ran hit shows for a variety of networks. They launched Paper Route Productions with one show in 2009. Since then PRP has produced more than 300 episodes of television.
Sumit started his television career as an editor after working in graphic design at the Washington Post. His storytelling skills quickly enabled him to move into producing, directing and show running. Before joining PRP he worked on Suburban Secrets, Paranormal State and History’s Digging for the Truth and UFO Hunters. At PRP Sumit has produced and helped develop everything from Ghost Lab to Brothers on Call to Yukon Men, He oversees the ever-growing “Buying” franchise and plays a role in all current series and the development slate.
Dan has degrees in Business and TV/Film from DeSales University. After graduation, he worked in production management on films with M. Night Shyamalan and on the Batman movie The Dark Knight. Dan joined the PRP team as production manager on Paranormal State. He worked on UFO Hunters and Ghost Lab and became a line producer on Brothers on Call and Yukon Men before moving up to EIC. Dan supervises production management on all current series and development shoots.
Brian started his career in the camera department on Queer Eye For the Straight Guy. He developed his producing and cinematography skills on the Black Gold, American Chopper and won a cinematography Emmy for Deadliest Catch. Since joining PRP, Brian has been DP and senior producer for Yukon Men, co-ep on Escape From… and Alaska Starts Here. He is now head of production for all current series and development projects.
Joe started his career working in post departments right after graduating from Desales University. In films he worked on Lady in the Water and Invincible. His TV credits include In the Lab with Jeremy Germ and Yukon Men, the Buying franchise, the Gold franchise, Alaska Starts Here and most of PRP’s development projects. Joe is in charge of PRP’s post systems, color correction, audio mixes and mastering.
Hannah graduated from Vassar and started working as a PA on Jersey Shore, American Idol TLC’s The True Story of Chandra Levy and Lifetime’s Russian Dolls. Since joining PRP Hannah has worked on Brothers on Call, Yukon Men and the Buying. Hannah is currently as supervising producer on various Buying series.
Dan graduated from Syracuse University and started working in production on Inside the Actors Studio, Paranormal State and MTV’s High School Stories. He has worked on many of PRP’s shows including Ghost Lab, Brothers on Call, Extreme Cleaners, Yukon Men and the Buying franchise. Dan is now in charge of talent and casting for the Buying franchise, other projects and development.
Nick started his as a PA on Real World and Simple Life. He has had producer roles on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Sea Rescue and Gator Boys. Nick has worked his way up at PRP from producer on Ghost Lab, Bloody Good (3D Net) and Brothers on Call to supervising producer on Alaska Starts Here, Yukon Men and the Gold franchise.
Tim graduated from Fredonia State University where he started his career directing sporting events and working in news. Since joining the PRP team he has been an integral part of nearly every production at the company including Brothers on Call, Yukon Men, Garage Gold, the Buying franchise, Escape From…, and Alaska Starts Here. Tim also works on many development projects.
James came to PRP after four years of working on Americas Most Wanted. He has worked as a producer on the Buying franchise. James is now a supervising producer on the Gold franchise. He also works in development.
Kevin upon graduation from SUNY, Oswego began with Paper Route building his career on such shows as Buying Alaska, Yukon Men and other various projects. He is now a key player in the post department, equipment, logistics, deliverables and development.
